Mencap’s year-long Supported Internships programme aims to support young people with learning disabilities into sustained employment through promoting confidence, independence and inclusion. Mencap will be delivering employment skills sessions from the St Luke’s employment hub two days of the week (from 24^th Sept 2018), focusing on building friendships and communication skills, professional behaviour and the employment tools needed for young people with learning disabilities to succeed in work.
