CEO Michael Ryan explains: "Christmas can be a lonely time for certain members of our community, particularly the elderly and disadvantaged. Our mission throughout the year at St Luke's is to alleviate loneliness and social isolation, so Christmas is an important time to really bring everyone together in our community centre."

  • Saturday 9th December, 12-4pm: annual Christmas Fayre, with fun for all the family including crafting and cooking, live music, dancing, singing and much more. All welcome, free admission.
  • Tuesday 19th December, 12-4pm: our over 55s members lunch followed by singing and dancing in the Garden Room.
  • Christmas Day, 12-4pm: Christmas meal and party for anyone in Islington who might be by themselves on the day. Bookings must be made in advance at St Luke's reception. Transport can be arranged.

We always need volunteers to help with these events. Please email us on [email protected] or telephone 020 7549 8181 or pop in for a chat.

We have a Christmas Giving campaign on our website for anyone who would like to contribute, and 100% of that contribution goes to our beneficiaries: https://www.slpt.org.uk/Appeal/christmas-giving-campaign.

St Luke's also runs a community fridge, for those struggling to afford food. It is open every Thursday and Friday afternoon, for anyone who is signed up at St Luke's reception.
