St Luke’s Community Fridge was opened in July 2017, a place where surplus food from local businesses gets distributed to people in the local community who need it. It is part of a nationwide scheme to re-distribute surplus food supported by Sainsbury’s, Bosch and Hubbub. The fridge is located at the side of St Luke's Community Centre. The aim is to help individuals and families save money and reduce food waste.

Our community fridge currently shares out food every Thursday and Friday between 3.30 - 4.30 pm. Anyone can sign up to become a community fridge member. Just turn up on a Thursday or Friday to St Luke's and fill in a form. We particularly welcome those who are struggling to afford food.
